Volunteer Information
Volunteer roles include the following.
Clerk of Course: Help gather swimmers before their race begins. Making sure they are in the right event, heat, and lane. Helping make sure swimmers make their event on time.
Timers: Time and record races in order to provide results to the officials.
Table Workers: Help organize meet results, time cards, and ribbons. Help the computer worker with entering results into the software.
Runners: Gather the time cards from timers. Handing them to the table workers. This ensures that race/meet results are entered into the computer.
Computer: Become familiar with the software used. Enter swimmers meet entries into the software. At swim meets prepare to enter results from races. Processing this information for the official meet results.
